Penalty for using the Saudi quality mark without a license

Article 22 of the Specifications and Quality System stipulates the penalties resulting from committing the following violations:

• Using a quality mark without a license is punishable by a fine not exceeding one million Saudi riyals.
• Failure to comply with the terms of use of the quality mark shall be punishable by one of the following penalties:
  • Suspension of the use of the quality mark certificate for a period not exceeding one year.
  • Cancellation of quality mark certificate.
  • A fine not exceeding one million Saudi riyals.
  • Publish a summary of the penalty at the violator’s expense.
