The duration of official holidays and weekly vacations is generally included in the objection period, but there is an important regulatory detail that depends on the location of the leave within the time limit, as follows:

Official holidays or weekends (Friday and Saturday) are counted as part of the period normally and the period does not stop. Paragraph (2/22) of the executive regulations of the Sharia Procedures System stipulates that: “If the date falls on an official holiday at the beginning or middle of it, it shall be counted as part of the date.”

If the last day specified for the expiration of the objection period falls on an official holiday (such as a holiday or weekend), the system protects the objector’s right, and the objection expiration date automatically extends to the first business day following this holiday. Article (twenty-two) of the Sharia Procedures System explicitly stipulates this by saying: “If the last date falls on an official holiday, it shall be extended to the first working day after that.”
